Experimental Drawing Wall
Working on 10-12 pieces at once, I lay down various mediums to create texture, then applying washes of ink and acrylic, I work quickly so not to overthink things.
Responding to the mostly happy accidents of wet working in wet, I use palette knives, scrapers and various sizes of handmade and commercial mark making tools until the surface is sufficiently worked and resembles a wall with many years of patina.
These will be studies for larger works either on paper or on canvas.
